ITcontact starts supporting the Financial and Auditing Sector. Provides IT support for branches across South Africa. Site-to-Site Wide Area network implementation.
Became a partner in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Initial network of 25 LAN points grew to 120 users with various database integrations. Early CCD application development. CCD later became known as CDX and grew into a all powerful pharmaceutical dispensing, courier dispatch and switchout application.
Proving support and network maintenance to the State Theatre, expanding the LAN to 110 workstations with applications, POP mail and shared resource distribution. In excess of 3Km network cable installed for Momentum Centre and State Theatre.
In the early days we installed the initial local area network for PACT (Performing Arts Council of Transvaal). The network was driven by a Novell server which we proposed and installed. Project plan was laid out for Unix applications to be replaced by Windows applications. Configure first Microsoft "post-office" and deploy mail clients for internal mail.
